50th Post Blog Post Round Up

I can hardly believe that today's post marks the 50th on this blog! In some ways I wonder how I could have got that many in only a year... but then other times I think it's not really that much. But it's a milestone for sure, and so today I thought I'd round-up some of my favorite old blog posts from this blog. :)
  1. My Mission as A Writer  This is my very first post on the blog and I still like it because it explains what my mission as a writer is. It's a good thing to know why  you want to write, publish, or be an author--and it's fun to share your reasons!
  2. Five Different Ways to Plan Your Book Part of my NaNoWriMo Prep posts from last October, I still like this one because it can definitely be useful other times of the year too!
  3. NaNoWriMo 2015 Recap 2015's NaNoWriMo was pretty amazing because not only was I in a brand new country for most of the month, but I was also releasing my very first book. It was a month of firsts for me and I still get so excited when I think about it! :D
  4. How to do Color Coded Editing This is by far my favorite way to edit and I really enjoyed sharing how I did it with you all.
  5. April Writing Challenge Results "A Brush With Death"  This year we started doing monthly writing challenges and I've really enjoyed those. I hope you all have too! This is one of my favorite stories so far, and probably one of the trickiest to write, too!
  6. How to use the MBTI Method for Richer Characters  This post was one that had been on my list for a while and I was super happy to get it finally written! While it's just a very basic intro into MBTI for Characters it's a good place to start! ;)
  7. The Bookbug Epic Character Workbook and Guide And of course, the very recent post on the 100% Free workbook.... Wow I was SO excited to publish that post! It was a lot of fun making the workbook but also a little nerve-wracking as I had to make sure all these different pieces of the puzzle so-to-speak were perfectly in place before the post went live. But it all went really smoothly and the response has been great! :)

Well that's all for today! I'd love to know what your favorite post has been so far from this website. Please let me know in the comments below!

Have a lovely day,
<3
Victoria

Of course I loved every post heehee, but below are some of my favourites:

My Mission as A Writer: SO inspiring and encouraging!!
Five Different Ways to Plan Your Book: VERY useful. I have used the Mind-Mapping Method twice and love it. It's the first time I have ever used a plot but it's a TREMENDOUS HELP.
I Can Do All Things Through Christ: Again, very encouraging!
How to do Color-Coded Editing: SO USEFUL! I haven't tried it our yet but I hope to in October/December. I'm going to try and not get too excited about it, but it will be my fist official editing and maybe—just MAYBE I will at least be able to give it to my friends. . . From the Sneak-Peeks, what do you think?
January Music Writing Challenge Follow-Up: I LOVE the challenges and this is your BEST story ever in my opinion.
How to use the MBTI Method for Richer Characters: Very useful. I have already used it to tweak a character who resembled another strongly but wasn't in the least the same.
The Bookbug Epic Character Workbook and Guide: Wonderful, inspiring, helpful. . . (I'm running out of adjectives).
An Interview with My Main Character, Leo Nakano: This post was very useful to me because I tried it out one day and sent it round to my “audience”. I plan to make more someday too. :)
What is Your Book's Theme? I didn't pay much attention to this before, but I read it recently and found it very interesting. I'm working much on THEMES in T.D.P. (which, BTW., is T.D.P. no longer—its T.P.&.S.)
7 Apps I Love While Writing: I found this very useful! I already use Writer, Evernote, and Canva A LOT and I plan to look into the other too. . . especially Google Docs and Google Play Music.
10 Things I Wish I Knew As a Young Writer: I wrote my own version of this (14 Things For A Young Writer to Remember) and I find them both very useful. . . I still do those mistakes sometimes haha.
A-Z for Writers: I really liked this! and find it very encouraging.
5 Practical Tips for Extroverted Writers: I really needed Tip #4. . . ;P
Three Things On Writing I Learned From My Mother: I found these tips very true and useful. . . I struggled with some myself.

I hope you do this again with the 100th or something! :) Its fun and I'm sure its encouraging to you!

I was watching the video of you guys on SS. . . wish you'd make a video-post here! It'd be more real than just reading. Haha. Of course. :D

Thanks for sharing, Katja! I'm so glad you like the blog and posts! :) I'll definitely keep a round-up of posts in mind for my 100th post.
I also am glad to hear you'd like videos! I've been thinking I'll probably get into doing a YouTube channel this late summer or fall. All very bookish related, but I'm not going to give anything else away lol.
