It was a bit of a different month for writing, as I was on a mission trip the entire month (except for the first five days, which was still extremely busy for me!) But being in a different location is good for me, anyways, and I even though it was a little bit tougher to meet my word count, the Lord still helped me reach 50,000 words.
I really enjoyed the book I was working on, so much so that I whizzed through the rough outline I had written up in October-- and I still had 20,000 more words to write! Thankfully I had already stored a few basic ideas in my head for a sequel, so that possible sequel turned into a Part Two that was written all off the top of my head with no idea where I was going with it. That was a little bit difficult for me, as I had a hard time writing it without thinking about it first and already being in the middle of the book. But I had plenty of encouraging people who made sure I sat down and wrote, and so on November 30th I reached my goal with just enough time to spare!
I was able to write in a coffee shop for the first time in my life the last week of National Novel Writing Month. It was definitely a highlight of this year's NaNoWriMo and I enjoyed it very much. :)
Well, the excitement won't be stopping on this blog any time soon! With Christmas coming I'm really looking forward to some posts that will be up before long! :) I hope you had a lovely November and that you will have a beautiful Christmas. Please comment below to let me know how your NaNoWriMo went if you participated, or if you didn't, what was one thing you were thankful for over the last month. And then tell us what you're looking forward to doing this Christmas season! ;)
God bless you all,
